FAQs

[What is an elixir?]

Our elixirs are herbalist formulated, plant-based, oral drops. The restorative properties of the herbs are extracted using glycerol, purified water and alcohol to produce a potent yet gentle elixir to support you on your wellness journey.

[What are drops?]

Our tummy drops are formulated for pregnant mama’s, to support your belly, hips, breasts and any other areas that need some extra love during this beautiful time of growth. The drops are a blend of natural oils infused with the grounding and refreshing scents of vanilla, frankincense and lemon essential oil, designed to deeply moisturise, heal, boost elasticity and help prevent the appearance of stretch marks, whilst simultaneously enhancing your intuition and spiritual connection. Our drops are a wonderful addition to your self-care ritual.

[What are brews?]

Our herbal brews, or more commonly known as herbal tea’s, are blends of dried herbs carefully formulated to create a delicious, warm infusion full of health-giving goodness straight from Mother Nature.

[How do I use the elixirs?]

The elixirs are best taken over a period of time (~3 months) for best results. This is so the herbs have the chance to make subtle changes within your body. You can also use the elixirs on a ‘need’ basis; for example if you’re feeling overwhelmed and your nervous system needs support, reach for the ‘peace elixir’.

Simply fill a dropper full and place under your tongue, or into your drink of choice if preferred. Take 1-3 times daily.

Please note that although the effects of the elixirs work gently and energetically within your body, some people are more sensitive than others. Get to know the herbs and see what works best for you.

[What do the elixirs taste like?]

The flavour of the elixirs varies but the dominant taste is a sweet, fruity syrup with herbal undertones. They undergo an extraction method that involves both glycerine (sweet) and ethanol (alcohol), so you may be able to taste both. Some love the flavour, and other’s don’t. If you struggle, try mixing your drops in juice or diluting in water.

It’s important to note that the flavour of the herbs signals the beginning of the medicinal effects within your body. So if you can, embrace the taste!

Product descriptions are not claims of what each product can do, rather a compilation of scientific evidence and research. We would like to remind you that your health is ultimately your responsibility. Take caution if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as some herbs are contraindicated during these times.

Our elixirs typically have a shelf life of 2 years once opened. For best results, use within this time and store away from light and heat.

[Where are your products made?]

Our products are handcrafted near Bellingen, on the east coast of NSW, Australia using techniques rooted in traditional herbal medicine. We source all of our herbal extracts from a small, organic farm in Tasmania. Our dried herbs for brews are also 100% organic. We are currently a made to order business, producing in small batches.

[What is glycerin?]

Glycerin is used in the extraction process when creating the herbal extracts used in our elixirs. It is colourless, odourless, natural, non-toxic and gives our elixirs their sweet taste and syrup like consistency. It occurs naturally in plants through the fermentation of sugars. Unlike traditional sugars, glycerin has a low glycemic index, meaning it has minimal effect on blood glucose.
